About US

We want to help you pause and think.

And why does all this matter?

01

Everything’s instant.
We’ve got less time than ever to stop and think.
Our generation works hard — and when we finally stop, it’s usually to listen to music, go out, or stay lost in the noise.

Truth doesn’t exist.
Today’s world tells us everyone has their own truth — which means, in the end, truth itself disappears.

The algorithms think for us.
When we stop to think, we do it through our phones — and they’re already biased toward what we like, feeding us only the information we want to see.

What’s our mission?

ITTT (It’s Time To Think) is a cultural movement aiming to transform society by promoting critical thinking and the pursuit of truth.

Where do we want to go?

We want to be the space that brings together everyone who’s searching for truth and asking why.
Our goal is to build volunteer communities in every corner of Europe and the Americas.
Right now, ITTT already has physical communities in 40+ cities across 10 countries.

The 10 principles that helped ITTT reach 40+ cities in just 3 years

1. Freedom of Thought

The ITTT community is made up of all kinds of people — believers, atheists, and folks from the right, center, and left.
If you’re open to real dialogue with those who think differently, you’re welcome here.

2. Truth as the Goal

ITTT believes truth exists — we just don’t claim to know exactly what it is.
From there, we connect volunteers, speakers, and attendees in each city so that, together, we can search for it.

3. Humor Breaks Down Walls

We want to break the echo chambers. In other words: we want you to truly listen to and understand those who see the world differently.
Humor and joy are the best tools for tearing down barriers.

4. Small Is Beautiful

We don’t measure an event by its size. The small things transform.
Whether it’s 500 people or 20, at ITTT we care about every detail — from the timer to the beer bottle — because details help us think better.

5. Magnanimous Mindset

…not an ambitious one. At ITTT, we love the small scale — yes — but we also dream big.
That’s why we won’t stop until dialogue among people who disagree and the pursuit of truth are possible in every corner of the world.

6. The Local Over the Global

Changing the world sounds epic — but it often fades away.
At ITTT, we focus on the concrete: transforming the culture of your own neighborhood.
That’s why every city’s volunteers lead the movement, while the central team is simply there to support them.

7. A Builder’s Mentality

We’re just passing through. Whoever creates or helps doesn’t do it for themselves — they do it for society.
We know we’re building something bigger, like a pyramid or a cathedral.
What one volunteer starts, another will finish.

8. Friendship Over Individualism

Ego kills organizations. That’s why at ITTT we avoid personalism.
Our volunteers organize everything in their free time, and that only works thanks to friendship — and a community spirit that matters more than any individual name.

9. Living in the Streets

We value intellectual life deeply — but we don’t want the elite to stay elite.
We use the language of the street because we speak to the street.
The ideas of great thinkers should reach and transform everyone — not just a privileged few.

10. Radical Altruism

ITTT is led entirely by volunteers — people who expect no financial gain — supported by a small staff of five.
This allows us to host big events at very low cost, and to live out the previous nine principles freely, without depending on sponsors.
